We had a very successful staging experience with Stage by Stage. After completing some light renovations, the addition of staging really made the place stand out - we received an offer the first weekend we put the house back on the market after renovating which was great!. Many complements from people who had seen the home before and barely recognized it after.

If you are looking to do staging, I highly recommend this company. Keeping the following in mind:
- The initial and ongoing monthly cost can be significant, depending on the size of home. Selling at a fair market value in a timely manner was our goal, so it was worth it.
- The contract is quite strict about any cancellations/rescheduling/condition of the property on staging day, with penalties that I felt were higher than they should be. We proceeded nonetheless as we felt confident we could operate within those requirements, but be sure to read the contract.
- When budgeting, I would add an extra month to cover the period of being under contract - if something happens and you have to relist, it would be expensive to restage. Fortunately, didn't happen in our case but something I had to keep in mind.

The team was very professional and result was a beautiful looking home with an accelerated sale at a good price.

As a local investor who has utilized this company's services twice, I have observed both strengths and SIGNIFICANT concerns. The company demonstrates commendable skill in design layout and visual appeal. However, I have encountered *significant* issues/concerns with the quality of the furniture provided.

During my initial engagement, a potential buyer that simply sat down on the bed (picture #1) experienced a collapse of a bed due to substandard wood used for support. Although the company did not charge me for this incident, it was concerning. In my second engagement, a realtor sat in the coffee chair (picture #2) that broke, posing a risk of injury. Additionally, during de-staging of my second property, the company reported that two dining chairs were broken, contributing to a total of three broken chairs provided by the company for just 1 property alone. These issues could have led to more severe consequences, including potential legal ramifications from my potential buyers if they had injured themselves.

The photographic evidence provided by the company of the broken chairs was inconsistent with the condition of the chairs as observed upon their arrival. Furthermore, I have 2 cameras in the property and a licensed realtor was always present for each visit. I have invested $561.00 in replacement costs due to these issues and, based on this experience, I will not be using this company’s services in the future.

This review is intended to provide constructive feedback to the company and to inform prospective clients of potential quality control issues. If choosing to engage with this company, I recommend a thorough inspection of all items prior to finalizing the staging process.

One thing that truly set Step by Stage apart from the competition was that they actually came out to the property before providing a personalized quote. This meant a great deal to my sellers giving them confidence in the service we would receive going forward.

Scheduling was easy. Installation was quick (only a few hours for 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, the kitchen and dining rooms, and the primary bedroom). Destaging, likewise, took less than half a day.

The furnishings, rugs, and artwork were lovely and on trend, while also looking timeless. Perfect for my listing which was quite a unique property.

I'm so happy with all of the positive feedback I received regarding the staging and the photographs which were included. It helped immensely in garnering so much interest and in the end, a great offer!
